Volunteers needed.
Project: 25yd range roof
We will be replacing the roof on the 25yd range. We will be performing this project on Tuesday May 15th. Hopefully the project can be finished in one day, if not than it will be finished on the 16th. We will need 4 – 6 volunteers to get up on the roof, remove all the shingles & skylights, remove all the rotten plywood & replace it with new plywood & metal roofing. All equipment will be provided, bring a pair of gloves.

100 Yard Range Construction 12/19/10

Volunteers needed!
This Sunday December 19 we will be installing the rubber chips in the overhead baffles on the 100yd range. Starting time is 10am & we hope to finish up around 2pm, weather permitting. We are hoping to finally finish this project.
We could use a few extra hands for this project so if you are willing & able to assist, please contact the club's President Charlie Fountain: president@sccsfa.org
The 100yd range will be closed during the construction.
New Shooting Benches - Help Needed

SCCS&FA IS BUILDING NEW SHOOTING BENCHES. A prototype sample has been placed in the clubhouse & the project has been approved by the Executive Committee & membership at that meeting.
We need volunteers for:
Weld the steel parts using their welder in their own shop.
Drill 1/2” holes in the rear legs using a drill press.
Fabricate the wood seat.
You would have about 3 months to complete your part of the project.
Once the weather warms up next year then we will get together again & fabricate concrete forms for casting the concrete tops.
We are looking toward a final installation of the new benches around May or June of 2011.
