Membership Information

All new members must also be a member of, or be prepared to join the
National Rifle Association. Such NRA membership must be maintained in order to renew. Proof of NRA membership (card or magazine label) is required before you can receive your club membership. If you are not an NRA member you can purchase a membership through SCCS&FA at the time of application.

All new memberships are contingent upon approval by the Executive Board of Directors. All memberships are valid from October 1 to September 30 of each year, and pro-ration of fees will be for new members joining part way through the year only. Late renewals will not be accepted after December 31. We now accept credit cards.

No person may join through the mail without first attending the New Member Orientation Class. New Member Orientation is held on the last Tuesday evening of each month. The General Membership meeting will follow at 8:00 pm. You will have the opportunity to pay for and receive your Membership Card and Key before the end of the evening.

As of April 26, 2011 there is a new procedure to follow for all persons wishing to join as members of Southern Chester County Sportsmen’s & Farmers’ Association:

1) Prospective members
must pre-register in advance to the membership director no later than 2 days (48 hours) before the next new member orientation by contacting the membership director - Amy Hutchins (302)998-5450 or membership@sccsfa.org. Please note that you may only pre-register for yourself. Also, if you are purchasing a membership as a gift or for a junior member, please contact Amy Jo Hutchins for information on how to do so.

2) New members are to arrive at the clubhouse at 6pm & no one will be admitted after 7pm.

3) Persons who are pre-registered & do not show up for the prospective new member orientation will have to pre-register again for the following month.

4) Persons who have not pre-registered will not be admitted for that month's new member orientation.

We will accept up to 30 members per month.

  • Junior (Under 18 years old): $25
  • Conservation: $25 (Current members)
  • Guest Passes: $5 per guest per day, purchased by members only.
  • Gate card, first issue: $5
  • Gate card replacement: $10
  • Replacement membership card: $3
